Red Abbey started off life in the Cumbria town of Dalton-in-Furness in 2002. The company was established to design and develop websites for businesses and organisations in the South Lakes and Furness area.
In 2004 after continued growth, the company moved to offices in Barrow-in-Furness, where it is currently located next door to Furness Enterprise in Waterside House.

Ecommerce //
We have had success developing ecommerce websites since 2003 and currently have over 15 ecommerce websites live.
Our ecommerce sites include an admin log in allowing our customers to add, amend and delete products themselves.
We incorporate a shopping cart system to best fit our customers and can host the sites on secure certificated servers or simply use an external payment provider such as PayPal to facilitate payment.
With our ecommerce clients we also discuss search engine rankings, offering guidance on cost per click advertising, reciprocal link exchange, portal websites and search engine optimisation.
Corporate Branding //
Many of our customers are new start businesses or have a dated or poor corporate identity, making life difficult when developing a new website.
